“The Supreme Court’s final decision on Roe is a punch in the gut and is a wake-up call for Democrats across the state and nation to get out and vote. As reproductive rights continue to come under attack, we can take solace in the fact that New York State was a pioneer in the fight for abortion since 1970 and was one of the first states to allow them. While the Supreme Court continues to take our nation back decades, New Yorkers are prepared to lead the nation once again–– with its first female governor at the helm.”
