Where: Outside of Rep. Molinaro's District Office In Greene County
NY19 constituents will convene at Molinaro's Leeds district office to express our concerns about Molinaro's recent votes in Congress - he has voted with MAGA Republicans 94% of the time - and express our demands for upcoming legislation.
Planned Parenthood and voters around the district will be demonstrating in Leeds on Wednesday morning - let's make sure Greene County Democrats are represented!
Topics of focus:
- A clean debt ceiling bill without cuts that will hurt constituents
- No cuts to Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid. He said these are “off the table”, but neither he nor the Republican caucus have presented a plan for saving Social Security.
- Urging co-sponsorship of the recently introduced Women's Health Protection Act of 2023 (HR 12)
- Demand that he protect our waterways, not weaken the Clean Water Act, which he did with his “yes” vote on H.J.Res.27
After the demonstration, we will respectfully submit our concerns on comment cards provided by his office.
Signs will be provided. Demonstrators are encouraged to bring handwritten signs as well, and be prepared to speak with press and have videos taken by our volunteers for social media.
Remember Congressman Molinaro says he’s a moderate, but he votes in alignment with extremist Marjorie Taylor Greene. He is not representing our best interests.
